The Marriott @ Nassau Coliseum?

I'm thinking of using them for my hotel for my wedding.

Thoughts?

Pro's: Nice Lobby, Good sports bar in the lobby, close to Meadowbrook parkway.

Con's: Tends to be very busy, when I went to look into booking them, they saw me for 10minutes, and their prices were a little expensive.

We're using them. Prices are better than most of the other places I looked, except for one BUT that one place didn't have a bar on-site...which was a requirement for us.

If you block ten rooms, you're not financially bound to pay for any unbooked rooms. This is in my contract, and I suggest the same for you!

If you need to block more rooms than that, unbooked rooms will be charged to you.

BUT. You can block ten rooms and if you fulfill the ten, you can try to get them to release more rooms at your blocked rate.

They also have an indoor pool, which is a nice plus.

The place was recently renovated. I haven't been there since I was tailgating in the Coliseum's lot like 8 years ago and wandered in there looking for a bathroom, but a coworker who is familiar with it told me that it looks really nice now.

Check it out, it's worth a shot.
