On my recent travels I thought the TSa did a kick A$$ job, however I only travel 2-3 per year, however I feel there is always room for improvement in this area, so let the get re trained.

I agree that they blow stuff up...but they do bring awareness to people about things that are not being handled correctly.

I agree with all of you. Their are some agents that could use more training (i.e., the agents we came across in FL) and their is always room for improvement. They have bigger machines that only 2 people are trained in, they should train more people on it, they should rotate positions so that everyone has time in each position and is trained in each situation, they should train more with baggage precautions (i.e., if a timed bomb is in a bag), and I am sure their are other areas as well that could use more training. These are things I feel could be area's of improvement.

I think the media just makes it sound like the agents are completely imcompetant and they really are not.

i always think that with anything - the meida will ifnd ht bad part and nevermind all the good things.....i thought the same thing when i heard about it - thats bs!!
