I just went to see The Metropolitan in Glen Cove.... FH loves it... me not so much...

Fh's best friend works there and we have been to parties downstairs in 'The Club' room and the food and service are great. We really wanted to have our e-party there. We looked at the upstairs for the wedding before their renovations and it was too small for us but if its the food and service u are worried about , don't they are awesome there. Good luck!

We looked there, they had a very small outside area that is fenced in since it is basically on the main road. It's a nice place if it's the kind of place you're looking for. To the OP, if you don't love it, keep looking. Both of you need to like it, you shouldn't compromise if you really don't like it.

I second the comment that if you both don't love it you should keep looking. I fell in love with one place, FH didn't. We kept looking and ended up both falling in love with another hall. G'luck!

They really don't have grounds. but they have three rooms. One of them is specifically for the ceremony, it was big and pretty nice. I like that there is only one event at a time there, and FH likes that the cocktail room over looks the Reception room. The other thing is that the times they offer are weird. If you have the ceremony there they want you to have it at 7:30 pm and than have the party from 8-1. Pricing was pretty good, and the menu sounded awesome!
