dh is home today, he'll be taking the papers to the lawyer to review.
i was just wondering, what would happen if we chose not to go to a lawyer??

Re: the millionth house-buying question
you could get really screwed- the lawyer has dealt with millions of house contracts and knows what to look for. The lawye is the ONLY person working in your interest ONLY - the lawyer is your protection.

yea, you should 100% get a lawyer. Its for your own protection. Some of the stuff in the contract is written in greek. I wouldn't know what they mean without my lawyer

So what are you asking? If you could delay contracts instead of meeting the lawyer in his home?
