The moment you've all been waiting for..well not everyone

After visiting 20 some places, the search has come to an end. That's not a typo, we have actually come to an decision as far as the reception location. We will likely go to contract tomorrow. L is really excited and nervous, and so am I.

While Cheatu Briand put up a good fight, ultimately we decided to go with...

Villa Lombardi

We felt that it's theme was more what we were looking for than CB's. However I think a wedding at CB would be really awesome as well. Certainly the 2 best we saw, out of a damn lot. :ha: We also liked the larger cocktail room VL had as well.

Since we are likely to contract tomorrow, I could use the help of future Villa Brides in negotiating. If you could FM me what you were able to argue for, I'd REALLY appreciate it. I would NEVER mention your name in discussions, I'm just wonder what kinda extra stuff I can get. They don't seem to want to budge on the PP price.

My sister's wedding in at Villa Lombardis March 26th. I think I may have told you this before but she didn't negotiate or get anything thrown in (when she wants something she will get it no matter what the cost!).

I'm MrHostility's FW.......and I just wanted to say I'm soooooo happy!

I was really beginning to feel hopeless that we would ever find the right place for us. I'm so glad we did, and now I can start worrying about the rest of the planning!

MrHostility and LovelyL ... CONGRATS!!

I remember all of Mr.H's posts about you guys struggling to find a place, and I'm really happy you found it! Villa Lombardi's is a great choice, it was on our list too but our date was not available ... you will have a beautiful wedding there!

Congrats! I have been to 5 Villa Lombardi Weddings in the past 4 years and each one was great! They have the best cocktail hour. Everytime I go to a wedding there, I eat at the cocktail hour and bring my entree home

Your wedding is going to be great and people will talk about the food for years to come
