The most important things to tag along on your honeymoon

What are they?

I tend to over pack, but I do want to make sure I bring along everything I might need.

Might sound like a silly question, but I want to put a list together of everything I am bringing so I dont forget anything. (This is prob the reason why I over- pack)

Well I'm not sure where you are going...but I went to the St. Lucia and during the day I lived in bathing suits (so definately bring a lot) and little dress cover ups. I don't think I wore shorts one day I was there and I packed a pair for each of the 8 Days. Each night we went out to dinner so I also went through a lot of nicer or fancier dresses. I should have limited myself to 2 pairs of dressy shoes because I brought about 8 as well and I kept on using the same 2 pair. Also lots of flip flops and sunscreen. Hope you have a great time!

It all depends on where you are going....

I used to travel a lot and had to travel light. I suggest staying within a color family/combo so that you can mix and match.

This is a tip for international travel in general:

My mother recommended making a copy of your passport and driver's license and leaving it with someone at home - God forbid anything happens you can obtain at least a copy of your identification

This is a tip for international travel in general:

My mother recommended making a copy of your passport and driver's license and leaving it with someone at home - God forbid anything happens you can obtain at least a copy of your identification

Great advice...i usually keep copies of my passport with me as I am out and about and keep the original in the hotel safe

if you are going somewhere out of the country and/or tropical:

Sunburn remedy--such as aloe vera

Anti-diarrhea/indigestion medicine like pepto bismol

also--i know all hotels have their own towels, but DH and i whenver we go anywhere beachy--bring a beach towel each with us, since hotels towels tend to be a little thinner and shorter.

otherwise--the basic clothing and such!

Bring a pair of comfortable shoes and another pair that you can wear either with a dressy dress or casual--this will cut down on some stuff.

Tylenol/Advil/Motrin, band-aids, sunscreen, small bottle of aloe, bug spray, anti-diaharreal medication, a roll of Tums or Rolaids or something similar, gum, candy....

Make copies of your passport and tickets and itinerary and leave with someone at home just in case along with necessary phone numbers to your hotels...

Your camera and plenty of film!

Bring clothes that can double as things--pretty dresses can often double as beach cover-ups.

We're going to Greece for 10 days. Its sunny and warm there.

We'll be heading for Greece too!

Considering the time of year, my co-worker (who goes every year) says bring PLENTY of sunscreen!

hmm...well i could also tell you what not to bring b/c we girls tend to overpack on vacations and wind up wearing only a few things that we bring.

Dont bring too many evening shoes...i brought one pair of black pumps that went with every outfit and dress which was so convenient.

Do bring lots of sundresses i found myself always wanting to wear them for sightseeing and wanting to wear dresses for dinner.

Do bring comfy sandals/flip flops.

Do bring beach coverups/terry cloth shorts/skirts

And dont bring too many clothes!

And do Have fun!

fantastic advice, i am doing this as we speak...even though i am not traveling internationally, just incase these documents were lost...
