The most sentimental

What do you think will be the most sentimental part of your wedding?

For me, I think it will be the mother/father/daughter dance. My mother will be giving me away with my father and I know when I dance with her there will be alot of tears.

Same here..I think i'm going to surprise my mom with a dance. Also when fh and fmil dance she just recovering from lung cancer so I'm sure that's going to be very emotional.

Re: The most sentimental

For me, the most sentimental part of the wedding will be the actual ceremony when we recite our vows.

We've been together for 12 years and have seen a lot of good and bad things in that time, but nothing compares to what we're going through now: I'm in treatment for Stage 4 non-Hodkins lymphoma. My fh takes me to all my doctor's appointments, fills all my perscriptions, sits with me during every chemo treatment, keeps a medication chart so I don't miss any doses and has even helped me to pick out my wigs.

I just don't know how I will ever get through saying the words, 'For better or for worse/In sickness and in health...' without bursting into tears!!!!

P.S. I'm a Mets fan too :)

I think walking down the aisle... the combination feeling of leaving my parents and marrying my husband will be too much... I'm always crying at weddings, even weddings on tv. I'm going to be a mess. I should stop writing this or I'm going to cry now!

Re: The most sentimental

Probably when I walk down the aisle and see FH. I wish I could say father/daughter dance, but my real dad is pretty much a distant uncle in my eyes. My step dad is pretty much my father to me, but I just feel guilty having the father/daughter dance with him because I don't want to make my real dad feel bad. (I have a lot of guilt issues)

Our first dance because the song we are using describes both of us.

I would have to say when the doors open and I see FH for the first time. Just thinking about it I get all emotional.
