I am starting to get back responses...I was so excited to come home today and see six envelopes!! Well, my bubble was burst! My Aunt (Dad's side) just responded 'No' without an explanation!! Unbelieveable!!! I wonder!! I feel like calling her and asking why.... It really took me by surprise....Oh well....I look at it this way...she is missing out on a wonderful day!!!!

i'm sorry that your aunt will not be there. I probably would like to see a little note written somewhere on the response card explaining why. I guess we all have to keep reminding ourselves that those who REALLY want to be there will. And it's always their loss!

and it doesn't end either....with 9 days to go, we just got 2 more people that called my parents and said they had to change their yes's to no's...so frusttrating!

Just out of curiosity, do people usually write a little note if the answer is no? I've never done it but have occasionally wanted to, wasn't sure if it was good etiquette..

GRR. I am going through the same thing. Its very fustrating - the worst part is that my guests knew for 10 months the date and place of my wedding. why didnt they say anything before the invites were sent out. Jerks.

I have been extremely dissapointed with my RSVP turn out!!! I have more people NOT coming than people coming!!!!!! I still have 20 empty seats which is already paid for!!!!!!! sooooooo sad, I feel extremely UNLOVED!!!!!!!!!! XOXOXO Kitty
