I interviewed with Sterling Testing 3 months ago. I thought it went great with the first 2 people, then I met the CEO who I wish would drop dead. He asked me 1 question and then told me goodbye have a nice day.
I never heard back from them. Then after about a month I sent them my resume again with a follow up note. Nothing.
So today they call me, and get this for an interview for the same position I interviewed for already. When I told him I was already in he got real nasty and said 'oh well I guess you arent a candidate for the position' and hung up on me.

Re: The nerve of some companies
Maybe that is why they cannot get anyone to fill the position, everyone senses that they are not nice people to work with or for.

Re: The nerve of some companies
I have something funny to say about that. I went for an interview in the city back in november. It was a combination of graphic, customer service, clerical position. The ridiculous thing was that they insisted you dress in business attire and only paid $20,000 a yr.
Well, since Nov. I have seen this reposted on moster several times. Hint, Hint: pay better, people will stay or you willl get someone better with more pay too.

Dont companies find it odd that they have something posted and months later they still dont have the position filled.

Re: The nerve of some companies
I ended up getting a position for company as marketing director. I was doing well, but the company was not. I got really sick with bronchitus about a week before my vacation, well, the day I was to leave for vacation they let me go saying there were problems. Well, guess what it was because they could not afford to pay me. They had no management skills. Everyone was a chief and I was the only indian. What is that? No wonder they were doing horribly.

Re: The nerve of some companies
My old company did that to me. I got engaged Sept 13, was leaving for vacation Sept 20 and on Sept 19 they let me go saying the same thing. Yea the problem was them not me. They had no management skills and everyone was out to step on everyone else.

Re: The nerve of some companies
thats almost funny - i mean, they can't keep track of who they look at or not - you probably don't want to work there anyway - if they can't even keep that straight!
