Re: The NEW AND IMPROVED 'Official' EAST WIND THEAD!
I am not using their House Florist.....Is that Shoreham Florist or James Cress? Those I saw as recommended vendors on their list...
I am using ADA Studios for my photographer.....
I know they are on recommended list too...

Also...they use both James Cress and Shoreham. I was thinking about Shoreham. Going to go there friday and see what they can tell me.

FutureMrsH... I am getting married at church, so not using their clergy. Please let us know about Shoreham florist. I have heard good things about them. I was thinking of going to meet with them as well this week.

I heard great things about shoream florist. James Cress is really good also but from what I hear $$$$$. I am not using the house clergy, I am getting married in a church. I hear Tommy Tunes is really good. Dont know too much about ADA. All the pictures in the place are from ADA though so if you like those... I am really excited also. I was worried about the distance but people will come. I am sending out save the dates so they have plenty of time to take the day off or book a room if they need to

I still have awhile yet, but wanted to say hello! I am also an East Wind bride, April 2006. I'm looking forward to it.
As for their house vendors, we have booked Tommy's Tunes for our DJ and we have Joe E and we are making an appointment with ADA in the next few weeks.
Happy Planning All!

I'm using James Cres. I went to see Shoreham too, they were both great, but despite what I had heard about James Cress they were actually cheaper and I got more than what Shoreham was offering.

I have some time too. I decided not to use any of their house vendors either. I was not impressed at all with them. I am using Twelfth Night for photo, Bravura Entertainment, and Wildrose Video. We did so much researching and they were by far our absolute favorites. I too have heard nothing but amazing things about the food and the grounds out there. OH I CAN'T WAIT! Have fun in your planning ladies

Shoreham florist was very nice. They were very helpful too and reasonable. The flowers they showed me were beautiful and they took the time to really sit and talk to us. I love that! Plus, since they know the rooms at east wind, they were able to give some great suggestions too. Haven't looked at James Cress but I heard they are expensive.

Great idea! I too, am a future bride at East Wind, Northhampton. I have quite a while myself---but its not stopping me from trying to plan everything now so I can relax later. LOL
As far as their house vendors, only one I am using is Father Joe--who is great! I plan to find the others on my own.
Good Luck to all EAST WIND Brides!!!

Re: The NEW AND IMPROVED 'Official' EAST WIND THEAD!
Anyone getting married in the country gardens? I have a question...what if it rains? I know the ceremony will be moved indoors, but do guests have to walk in the rain to and from the cocktail hr?

We are having about 220-230 (ok lets be honest, it's going to get up to 250) at the Inn. Still no further progress on booking vendors. Ive gotten lazy and keep saying I'll do it once I start work again (teaching).
