the new Krock...

Do they not have any Dj's? Anytime ive listen to it no Dj's. That would really s*ck if they fired the dj's and the format.

that must be the new thing. The local westchester rock station near me says they play, ' world class rock' it's old, new & in between , No hair bands though.

Personally, I like this trend.

I don't think its a bad format. I don't know if it should have taken over Krock but.... They said something about doing to brace for when Howard Left.

I don't like the format. No more than one station in NY should be allowed to play AC/DC. hehe
Give me a country station then you can do whatever you want with all the other stations. In the meantime I'll stick to WFUV.

no, that I agree with. I don't liek q104--its TOO much classic rock. THose songs go on FOREVER!
I used to listen to WFUV. SOemtiems I do in the car, it depends on the tiem of--I Can't stand the Irish weekends.

NY dose need a country station. A least that would add a little variety.

107.1 the Peak in Westchester doesn't play Led Zeppelin & ac/dc & Pink Flyod & stuff. They play more, Tom Petty, the Beatles, Rem & more modern stuff.
It's a little more main stream , without the cheeseball WPLJ stuff.

It would be great if there were a larger market station like that.

104 is SOOO annoying. We have it here at work for the contest. They play the SAME SONGS every day!!! I mean how many songs do Pink Floyd have, but yet they play the same 3 everyday!!! I can only hear 'money' so many times.
The Peak sounds like something I would like though

I know I hate that!!! KROCK used to do the same thing with Nirvana, Metallica, etc. Its like there are countless songs they released, why keep choosing the same 3??????

I wish there was a station that literally mixed everything ...rock, alternative, rap, pop, soft rock, lite rock....my taste is so varied that I would like to hear a variety all day!
