I know you mom's and mom's to be like to take tons of pictures of your 'perfect' angels... but what do you do with them? Leave them in the packages until they all get stuck together? Stick them in albums that collect dust? How about starting a scrapbook????
Come to the next crop and catch the fever. Here's the link to sign up. The Next Crop
FYI: A crop is a bunch of scrapbookers getting together and work on their pictures together, share ideas and get away from their family for a few hours. This one would be at a store so you can use some of the stores punches and die cuts (machine that cuts out shapes and ABC's).

Re: The Next Crop
Nora, thanks for the invite! I would love to get into scrapbooking, but I fear that it's just too expensive a hobby for me...I read all the posts you ladies write about all the supplies and accessories you need, and I have to admit...I am frightened and intimidated by the amount of $$$ required to make a pretty book!

Re: The Next Crop
EEERRRRRRRRRR- computer froze- lost entire post. (I decided to periodically save/edit this post so that doesn't happen again)
Anyway, take 2: Scrapbooking can become an expensive hobby, but your pages can look very nice if you don't spend a lot of money. There are a few tools that you can purchase that can be used in many different ways to add interest to multiple pages. They are 'coluzzles' and page makers (not sure what the real name is). You can also make a page with a frame/title/die cut that come in one package for about $1.00, add the $.60 for the backround paper and maybe $.20 for a mat, your page will cost less then $2.00. A coluzzle comes in different shapes (heart, square, circles, tear drop/rain drop) that you can cut your picture in a perfect shape then mat the picture perfectly. The 'page makers' as I'm calling them for now has a bunch of different holes (mostly rectangles) where you can put your pictures and titles on the page, if you rotate them you can actually get 8 different layouts from each one; plus you can use them over and over.
Here is a link to a scrapbook website that has TONS of different layouts. I picked out the baby layouts for you to look at and get some ideas. Recently, computer generated layouts have become the next big thing, if you are computer savy, you can print your pages for almost just the cost of paper and ink. Two Peas In A Bucket
