The NYCDOE needs to...

hire me a secretary! The amount of paperwork they are making us do this year is redonkulous!

I don't think I even have time to plan a lesson!

YUP! Do any of you have T.A.N.'s? Teacher Assessment notebooks? It's crazy what we have to do in them for math.

Plus.....we just rec'd a new copy of what is 'expected' of us if we get observed.....no joke, but the page is double side, small margins, and oh yea about size 10 font. I just don't get it this year. I am going crazy!

In my school we were all handed a booklet.........

You know.... all of this has made me question as to why I even became a teacher. The NYCDOE is going to run good teachers out of this profession if they keep it up!!! I try my best to reach every student and love what I do, but its just getting out of control. I feel like every year it gets worse and worse.....
