The Oak Room at Jericho Terrace

Hi everyone,

I am getting married at Jericho Terrace, November 2014 in the Oak Room. We are inviting 158 people with probably 130 attending. I am worried that the room might be small but we are told that the room hold 147 guest. Has anyone else had or is having their wedding in the Oak Room and how was the experience?

We were orignially booked in the oak room but I changed it to the Skylight after seeing some videos from other wedding with 100 people and it seemed very crowded. Personally I wanted more space away from tables to dance floor.

Thank you. We are on a budget so I guess we will have to make due. We like the skylight too but its out of our price range. We are going to see if maybe the room is not booked when we give our final count, we can swap rooms. If not, its not meant to be. We will have a beautiful wedding anyway. Good Luck!

The oak room is lovely. I am having ceremony in dome room and reception is skylight. Where r u having ceremony?

I had my reception in the oak room and I had 100 people. I had 10 tables. I would think anything over 120 would be crowded but I love the oak room.

My parents went to a wedding in the Oak room with about 130 and said it was VERY tight. I don't see why they would charge you more for a different room....don't the rooms get assigned by the number of guests?

Also, my dad (pickiest eater ever) said the food was AMAZING at JT. When we went for my tasting at the Inn at NHP he told them 'I want a pork chop like they have at Jericho Terrace!'

you have to have a minimum of 150 people for the skylight room and 200 for the dome room... they try to d multiple weddings so if you have 100-130 they want to hold the larger rooms in case someone else comes along
