Hi Everyone!!! I noticed that there aren't many 2010 Watermill brides out there..so...I am on the hunt! I will start an on going list of all Watermill brides.
Do any of you guys know how much watermill charges for the sushi bar set up? We saw it at there last expo and it was soooo cool! It had gold fish underneath one of there boards that they were rolling sushi on! So cool! It would look great during our CH outside. Its proberly alot!
its in the menu enhacements folder thing...which i have in front of me...apparently for the Sushi Bar with Chef it is $12 per person
if u just get sushi displays (big trays of sushi with cali rolls, tuna rolls, cucumber rolls, tuna, yellowtail, shrimp, salmon and flouder) so not with the big goldfish thing and the chef, it is $8 per person...that's what we're doing since we're ALSO getting the seafood boat...i had to sacrifice my chef lol (FH hates sushi and wants the porterhouse station...so i told him id settle for no chef)

hi girls!! im a watermill bride! very excited..i have all the major vendors booked (photography/videography/florist/DJ) still need to get the limos... going to wait until after FH CPA test... i went to the showcase in march which was great and very helpful...and of course the food is amazing!! the way i found out about the watermill is tha t is was on one of newsdays top ten places to get married a while ago so when i went to look i loved it..my date is june 19, 2010!
We still need limos too!!!!!

I had a feeling it was $12 per person! But the $8 per person deal is not so bad! Is the porterhouse the same cost? Sounds really nice too! I have to look for my watermill folder tonight and check all of this out.

i think the porterhouse station is only $4 per person actually!!!!
im sure FMIL will cover that for us since its something FH wants...lol he's worse than me when it comes to being spoiled, im the ONLY child, so only daughter, only wedding, but he's the only boy of 4 kids...FMIL is crazy about him lol

In addition to the regular menu, we have the raw bar with lobster and Martini Bar for our CH.

we're doing the seafood boat!! that we had to have!!!
our guests are more straight liqour, or beer drinkers, so we're not doing the martini bar, but we're doing the espresso and cordial bar with chocolate shot glasses during dessert!!

i had a meeting with her in february...basically she talked to me and FH about everything we've done so far, still have to do, she let me know that i was VERY on schedule, even ahead of schedule with planning, so that made me feel very at ease!
we can get discounts on invitations, napkins, matchbooks, favors, anything from Kate Aspen and theres another website company also that we get discounts on but i dont remember...but www.kateaspen.com...i found favors on there and seating card seashell things that i want for my beach theme, and ill order them through samantha for the 30% off...
she has BOOKS and BOOKS of invitation samples...so when we are going to pick them out, FH and i are gonna go and she said she'll leave us alone w/all the books and we can bookmark which ones we like (since theres so many its overwhelming we wont be able to pick right away) so we'll bookmark a ton we like, then we can come back again w/a clear head, and look at ONLY the bookmarked ones and pick from there
shes so helpful, so patient, so sweet, and u really can meet with her WHENEVER

oh i totally agree!!! ive got all my major vendors booked, found my dress, and only have bridal party attire and little things to take care of
and i made a list of all those little things with time frames to have them done by so i dont lose track!!
im going to be finishing up student teaching 2 weeks before the wedding...and ill probably be interviewing for jobs too at that time, so i definitely dont want to be stressing about doing a million wedding things!!!
my friend just got married this weekend, she said she relaxed the WHOLE WEEK prior cuz she got everything done early!!!!

about the outside cocktail hour, did u mention this to anyone there? like, do you know if this can be done??? because i would definitely want them to do that if they can

my BM told me they set up two stations on either side at the CH this way there wont be lines...i could be wrong? my BM is bruce whos is everyone elses?

Just chiming in...I don't think the outside CH will be an option for us in February...who knows though, right??? Is that something we can do kind of last minute based on the weather?

i would def. ask your BM...They might be able to do this for you. for example, on my day if it is raining they wait until the LAST POSSIBLE MINUTE to move it inside..so i am sure if you tell them you were interested in doing it outside they could see what they could do...but there wont be any flowers or anything on the groud, i dont know if that bothers you....but u never know maybe it will be warm for your day.the weather is always crazy!

hey girls!!! i was wondering if any of you are going to the 'couples only' showcase with samantha tomorrow night????
im going w/FH, we already had out meeting w/samantha, so she said it will be a lot of repeated information, but that we should still come for the food/drinks/vendors, etc...
as soon as FH heard more free food he said he was in!!
