Re: The Offical 2010 Watermill Thread!!!!
I'm send my invites early (almost three months in advance) I'm giving them a month before to RSVP. I think that's enough time.

Re: The Offical 2010 Watermill Thread!!!!
I would send them out soon. I figured because of the holidays and everything else that it would give them enough time.
I'm only three weeks after you but I have a lot of OOT guests.

Yeah, that's what I'm worried about, them getting lost in the holiday card rush.

Re: The Offical 2010 Watermill Thread!!!!
I mailed them out the last week of October with an rsvp of December 1st for January 16th. The rsvp is coming up very soon and I'm still missing a ton.
I went to the Watermill just a week or two ago and finalized everything though!! It's so exciting. lol.

lol we got a letter in the mail on Halloween actually.. I don't know why I remember these things lol.. so it was about 2 1/2 months before the day and we met with them on November 13th. Christina had sent the letter but the meeting was with Bob, and that's when they go over the menu and the tablecloth and napkin colors, and you pick out the cake and if you're having an ice sculpture, etc. And they give you some papers to bring home that you'll have to fill out, and you go over a seating chart. Like the Astor Suite can have 14 people to a table with 13 tables, and about 2 weeks before the wedding, you have to send them the paper telling them how many adults and children and favors will be at each table. And they assign you a drop off date.

Re: The Offical 2010 Watermill Thread!!!!
For menus, they told me 2 months before
For invitations, I got them from the Watermill, and Samantha said to make the rsvp about 5 weeks before the wedding. We picked a nice round number, so it's March 25 for a May 1 wedding. They will go out 5 weeks before the response date, just after Valentines Day. SO, overall, they will be mailed about about 10-11 weeks before the wedding
