So .... which hotels did you gals block rooms in?

We have rooms blocked at the Huntington Hilton, its where we'll do our sunday brunch and probably a shuttle too ...

But we're also thinking of blocking rooms at the 4 Points Sheraton and maybe the Best Western.

We didn't want to use the Marriott because my cousin just used that hotel for her wedding weekend stuff ....

Which hotels are you using?

I think we are going to block rooms at the Hilton. I love the idea of the shuttle and the bar at the Hilton will remain open late for our guests.

We were going to block rooms at the Melville Marriot but after 2 weeks of them telling us they would send us the contract I still have not received it! I am going to look into Huntington Hilton.

i'm seriously considering booking this place. unfortunately, i'm stuck in tx and won't be able to go up to look at anything for a few months, so all i've seen is a few pics (but i've heard WONDERFUL reviews!). would anyone be willing to post their pics from this place? i'd love to see them. also, does anyone know a roundabout cost pp for this place (most likely for a winter wedding)?

thanks!

Your best bet would be to call NRC directly for pricing .... some halls start to discount their prices as it gets to be closer to the date (under 1 year).

Here are links to some reviews from some 06 NRC Brides:

Hey ladies...just as a PSA for ya...I went to book my limos last night and they told me that the big SUV limos can't get in the driveway at NRC b/c it bottoms out the truck on the incline. They told me that they have actually spoken to the NRC about this b/c they have to drop everyone off at the top of the driveway. They are hoping that the NRC fixes the driveway so they can accomodate the big trucks since so many people get them now. Just wanted to let you know about that! It's not a problem with the the regular super stretches or the antique cars.

I can't wait to see the updates to the CH room!
