how much in advance does NRC call to make your final appointment??

They called me in July to make the appointment for August. NRC wants to see you about a month before the wedding to go over everything

Question for those of you that have had your wedding at NRC already, or have attended a wedding at NRC. My brother is booked there for next August and my FSIL was told by one of the florists she met with that more than 250 and the room becomes crowded. Any truth to that?

You have NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT! We were simply BLOWN AWAY at the tasting. They will give you a sampling of some of the passed hors douerves and the fruit/cheese platters ... and then you will sample three or four entrees. It was amazing!!! Honestly, I myself am such a picky eater and I was thrilled at the quality of the food. Your FMIL should be just fine! Enjoy!!!!!

The food tasting was amazing!!!!! Your FMIL should have nothing to complain about. I went with my parents, FH and his parents and we were all really impressed with the food and how much we got there. Enjoy the food tasting

Help! I need to send my invites to the printer today -- does anyone know if you should list the address as 274 Jericho Tpke or 7150 Jericho?? So confused and don't want my invites to me wrong!

Use 274 Jericho Tpke.. much easier for navigation purposes

thank you for your post about the address....i had no idea they were in the process of changing the address until i read this and my invites are in the process of being printed!!! everything i have has the old address on it and i checked the site before ordering the invites and it was still the 7150 address...i am so worried that people will get lost now....if they follow the direction cards they will be fine, but not if they use gps!! i don't know what to do now....i called and nick said it shouldn't be a problem...i know they have tons of weddings booked there and they are great, but i wish they could have somehow notified people with upcoming weddings of the change

They changed their address? My wedding is in 2 weeks and I had no idea they did this. I dont know what to tell all of my guests now.

anyone else hear anything more about the address change? i spoke to maryann on the phone and she said the mailing address is still 7150, but they tell people 274 for gps and directions so i shouldn't worry.....hello...i am not mailing anything there, people need how to drive there. i told her i now have to reprint my reception cards because i do not feel comfortable giving people an incorrect address and she said there was nothing she could do. i told her i understood that, but they should have notified people properly. hopefully nadine will be there today when i go to get my direction cards because i usually deal with her and she is much nicer.

fyi...the old address is not recognized by yahoo maps or mapquest and it is wrong on google maps (tells you it is east of south oyster bay road when it should be west)

i love nrc and have never heard any complaints. if this is the worst thing that happens i guess it isn't so bad!! at least it is just a reception card and not the whole invite....

I noticed this when I was going over my invite proofs....so I just had my invite vendor change the directions for me. FH and I actually had this problem when we went to go see NRC for the first time......we were looking on the wrong side of the road! So I knew to be extra particular when proof-reading the directions on my invites. So I'm still using the 7150 address, just changing the directions.

I used the 274 address since that is what the website says to use. Is that wrong? MY wedding is less then 2 weeks away and I'm starting to get nervous

274 is the right address...so sorry for worrying you! i checked the site before i ordered the invites and it was still the old address. i guess i was going to the old link saved on my computer . all the paperwork i had for the past two years had the other other address so i never really thought to check it again because i didn't think it would change. i thought i was careful/organized, but i guess not enough!!

We had our wedding at the NRC and EVERYTHING was AMAZING.All of our guest raved about the food and the service. Monica and George were more than outstanding. Everything from cocktail hour to Viennese was great. Our guest were able to take anything and everything home with them.
I will post a full review once I get pictures. DH and I were just saying how we wish that we could do it all over again. Wow I'm Married now, it feels AWESOME.
