I am changing into my Cheongsam (if I ever get off my butt to buy it). I really don't want to change out of my wedding dress, but I think it would be a nice touch. If I do change, when do I change into the dress?

I am changing at least into one chinese dress and one korean hanbok (FI is korean). I hate to take up so much time changing, but i guess it's what I gotta do.

I'm Korean and FH is Chinese. I am not changing and neither is he. We are having a Chinese banquet rehearsal dinner but the wedding will be strictly American style.

I'm changing a few times. I have a kwa for the tea ceremony, a white dress for the ceremony with the officiant, and two qi pao for the reception...not sure when i'm going to change into the qi pao. I guess it's just expected in my family...

Yeah, I have 4 total dresses... luckily, ne ceremony is the morning before, on Friday.

Saturday, we're doing the tea ceremony in a private room, CheongSam, then during the cocktail reception, I have a Thai dress, where we're doing the water pouring ceremony. So, for the reception, I'll be in my Western dress.

I have to go Cheongsam shopping too.

WOw! 4 dresses!!! Nice! Where are you planning to get the Chinese dress? Would you have it custom made or?

I've been searching around within FLushing. There's one place in FLushing mall 2nd fl. I heard good things about them so far.
