Wow, when did you book. When we booked they told me we had a choice between black forest and campbells?

we booked in october. at that time campbell's was the only bakery they were using. there's always a chance that will change between now and next year.

my first payment is due the 15th...i think i'm just going to go down there since it's been 2 months that i last saw it. its been so long! are you girls calling first or just going to drop in there?

Girls, do you have a $300 Maitre'd fee also? Is that their tip, or do we need to give a tip on top of that?

Yes, I have that fee. I'm not sure about tip yet, but I am assuming there is one for the waitors and bartenders. Maybe that is included in the price per person? FH knows better than me on this.

i could be wrong, but i think this gets split between the waiters, valet, etc. nick told us that something was being split between all of them and i think we're still supposed to tip on top of that. don't hold me to this though...we should double check.

Im not picky about the cake..truthfully, i rarely see people eat it anyway! As long as the foods good I'm happy!

I totally agree with you. Plus, since we are doing the Viennese hour, I am sure people would rather fill up on that stuff, rather than a wedding cake! I just wanted to know what the cakes look like.

True, I want it to look nice, so I am more curious of why the bakery change or if there is one.....

I thought the email to nick was about the maitre d fee &/or tips?

The fee is for the chefs and for the matre d which is split betwen them which is like four people or something like that. So you still should tup the Matre'd since its not really covering his services, tip the bridal attendant.

Guest give tips to the valet, bar tender and coat checker. If you want to be nice and get a tip to wait staff i am sure you can but I can say most people do not or your guests may choose to do that.

I went to the CLM tasting tonight and we had a wonderful time! I think we are going to book with them tomorrow or Friday...
