They didn't show us the upstairs room either. I guess once we told them 200 people, they immediately ruled out the upstairs.

same here. but if you search the brides review, most brides get their cakes from black forest (which is great, used them my whole life, since i grew up in lindy) I dont know if black forest does cake tasting though. thats one thing i would like to get the chance to do.

Cari... ur next payment is prob due the same day as mine since we booked the same day.. are you dropping it off or mailing it?

when we booked, nick told us that they are no longer using black forest. right now they're using campbell's bakery, i think it's in brentwood. FMIL has ordered cakes from there and said they're great

they only told us black forest, when we discussed it in august prior to me actually booking. Thats odd. I was excited to use Black Forest :(

We booked with them in September and at our food tasting Lou was telling my mom about the bakeries. Then again my mom could have heard him wrong. Either way I hope we get to sample the cake.

My next payment is due 1/24!!! I think I am going to drop it off the weekend before. I really want to go there for each payment, just so I can see it again. The wedding is sooo far away, so I want to feel connected to the place. haha, im such a dork!

Also, Lou did tell me they were no longer using Black Forest because Black Forest didn't want to do weddings anymore...I don't know why. Sad

that stinks! Nick didnt tell me that when we booked. Very sucky. i was super excited to get to use them. do you know who our choices are now?

My payment is due the 14th! i think i'm going to drop it off too. i wanna see the place again!! i just want to be there like everyday lol
