eta: some girls recently said they had 35% say no and one bride who just got married said she had less than 50% say yes
Espo...Thank you sooo much for your helpful information!!! You're awesome! lol
You're welcome. So sad to see though girls posting with weddings coming up soon or that just passed and getting close to 40% saying no. Hopefully by 2010 it will get better and you wont have to deal with that.
No I am really getting nervous, I have a 200 person guarantee and have about 235 invited!! I am so afraid of having too many people but I don't want to pay for empty seats!! This economy really s***s, when will it get better?
BTW Espo your hair looks great!!

Re: The official JERICHO TERRACE thread
Hi, and Congrats. It seems like I am the next one to have their Reception at JT on this thread. I went to our meeting with Anna ( I think that's her name) to go over our menu and all the fun stuff. I thought we had everything set until Anna went through all the specific details, seating, food. She is very helpful but all of a sudden its like wow this is happening. To all the JT brides out there, I thought I had all the time in the world, but when it comes down to almost a month away, you have no idea. Just trying to smile instead of frowning.

oh god it is hard towards the end but somehow everything gets done and you pull throught. My last 2 weeks were pure H E L L for me, i was out everyday from morning to night non-stop running around, i barely had time to eat and i thought i was going to go crazy lol. I still have nightmares thinking of the last 2 weeks. Not everyone had it as bad though, so dont go by just me, i broke my foot and was in crutches in april so everything i had to do that month didnt get done and was all left for last 2 weeks lol. Make a list of everything you have left to do and designate a day to do each thing.

Re: The official JERICHO TERRACE thread
Wow, you really pulled through. I am trying to be careful because I have a tendeny to be clumsy. I have a list, but it doesn't seem to be moving. I thought that I was up to date, however, when I checked my things to do list on the theknot.com I didn't realize how many more things I have left. I am just trying to pick out the most important things.

towards the end you just run on adrenaline bc you have no other choice lol. Just remember people can help you too, this was my mistake and i tried to do it all which i wish i didnt. Take the help if they offer.
and if you have small things you wanted to do but not necessary things, remember not to drive yourself crazy. Your wedding will be fabulous without these things. At first i was upset i couldnt do my placecard idea but in the end i never even saw my placecard table that day and after didnt even care

I had Sal and he was AWESOME!!! he was so nice even the times i met with him before, always offering to help with anything. Even the day of he surprised me with a bunch of stuff that he just threw in. From the moment i got there he was waiting for me outside the gate, and really busted his a** that night and did an amazing job. Just a real nice, sweet and hardworking guy

Sal was our maitre D as well.....he was great and he did a lot of things to make us happy....we also felt like the bridal attendents really went out of their way for us - they were great - like a shadow but in a good way - we had camille (and a boy named karl - i think he may have been training) and they were awesome.......i have to say that the actual day of the wedding i felt like a princess - they treated us so well it was amazing....

Hey girls:

we used flowerbarn and i loved the boks and centerpieces - we didn't see any of the florists JT recommends b/c they seemed to be more on the expensive side and the flowers was something that we wanted to spend the least on.....we saw burtons and flower barn - we went with flowerbarn b/c they gave us a better price and we felt that their customer service was better - burtons was booming when we went in there, the shop had outdated fake flower arrangements everywhere and we were rushed even though we had an appointment - so our first impression wasn't great - i've seen brides use them though and have great wedding day flowers but we didn't feel comfortable with them.....there are pictures in my albums, i have both a non pro pic album that has some sneak peek pro pics in it but mostly non pro pics and then a seperate pro pic album (that i haven't finished uploading pics too!) and you can see the flowers and CPs that flower barn did - i thought everything was great and we got TONS of compliments especially on the boks.....
