I didn't realize we could pick our matri'd. I thought one was just assigned to us. When do we talk to JT about who we want?? I know there is plenty of time b4 my day but I like to be prepared.

we wanted to pick ours b/c my SIL got married there a few years ago and they loved their Maitre D - so we wanted to go with the same guy that did DH's sister's wedding - when we asked Rob he said that they assign a Maitre D to you and they don't really let you pick one out.....we figured we'd just see what happened and figure it out after we found out who they gave us......

you will find out at your meeting with Anna (to go over your menu) who your Maitre D is.....when we found out it was Sal we were a little relieved b/c I knew Denise had him and she said he was good to them.....when we met him i felt very comfortable and we didn't see any reason to try and change it to the guy my SIL had.....

I am using Wicks Florist in Baldwin. My sister and many friends have used them and they are great. The flowers they put together are breathtaking, and they are patient.

Re: The official JERICHO TERRACE thread

Hello all my fellow Jericho Terrace brides. I love reading what everyone has to say. I was wondering if anyone knows about the menu. I am haveing the 9 choice menu. I was wondering if there are menu cards on the table or not?? Does the waiter go around and say all 9 choices to all the guest??? I'm having 240 people--that would be crazy. Just wondering

Good question.... I think my BM said that JT has menus set out for everyone. I would have to double check that though- Does anyone have a picture of what the menu would look like from JT??

Re: The official JERICHO TERRACE thread

Yes, there are menus that JT provides. I asked the same thing. I was like, '9 CHOICES!!! How are my guests going to remember all of the choices?!?!?' So he said, 'We have menus, dont worry!'

I asked the same question regarding pictures of the menus on this thread about a week ago, but nobody posted. :( I did see them in someone's album awhile back. I believe they were ivory looking menus....tall, two-fold.

i did my own menu's and didnt use theirs, however ive been to other weddings there and yes they are an ivory color, i think says jericho terrace on top cant remember exactly, and then they have the menu choices in black ink, dont remember designs or anything on it. They put about 3-4 of them on each table on a stand.

Re: The official JERICHO TERRACE thread

Hello girls!

I have a question about meeting with Francesca from Dazzling Affairs. I have already booked a day of coordinator from Staten Island where I'm from. However, I have still been contacted by Dazzling Affairs to meet with Francesca. Is this meeting complimentary bc I am a JT bride? Has everyone met with her even if they're not planning on booking with her. I don't want to waste her time being that I already booked who I need through someone else. However I've heard on this thread that people who have met with her got some great ideas and that she pointed out some interesting facts. So, I'm thinking it can be pretty helpful either way, I just don't want to lead anyone on or be rude by setting something up with really no expectations to book. Any input???

TIA!

Re: The official JERICHO TERRACE thread

Hey!

I saw the menus that JT provides when I went in and met with Francesca. FH said that he thought they looked like a 'pizza menu.' I didn't care for them but that's JMO. They were ivory if I recall and were folded in half with the JT logo on top. Nothing really special, but hey, it's just a menu. It's all what you prefer! I am doing my own.

Also, ladies who are thinking about going to see Francesca - DO IT! I went and it was so helpful to bounce my ideas off of a professional. She was really great and it doesn't cost you anything so why not!?! I am thinking of hiring her as my DOC.
