I have all vendors booked but I made an appointment with Francessa anyway for next Saturday just for the he ll of it since many girls said she was so good. I figured I could speak with her about the room, set up, intiations, etc. Thanks as always girls for the great advice.

I have an appointment with Francesa on Saturday too! We'll be there at 4.

Re: The official JERICHO TERRACE thread

Thank you all for the info on the menu's. Next time I go I'll have to ask to see them.

I agree with people that you should go see her. I'm not having a DOC, but she has been very helpful with ideas and planning. She is very easy to talk to and you can ask her anything. They now have a new office, just down the block from the Jericho Terrace, so you might have to meet there.

Hello all my fellow Jericho Terrace brides. I love reading what everyone has to say. I was wondering if anyone knows about the menu. I am haveing the 9 choice menu. I was wondering if there are menu cards on the table or not?? Does the waiter go around and say all 9 choices to all the guest??? I'm having 240 people--that would be crazy. Just wondering

b/c we had the 9 choices we did the menus - we also wanted people to know that there was going to be a VH - so we listed that on our menu as well......we wanted people to know about everything since there was a lot - i felt like with all that stuff we were having we didn't want people to miss it.....especially when you pay so much for it all! i'll try to post a pic - T-E-S-S-A did our menus and they were really nice! the ones we went with didn't have the glitter - they were more plain - just the shimmery paper and black ink in fonts that matched with the fonts we used on everything else for the wedding and invites......

Re: The official JERICHO TERRACE thread

Hilton Garden Inn offers the shuttle to and from...

I was not impressed by their customer service. Their suites were nothing to write home about either.

I am doing Marriot in Uniondale.

I booked Hilton Garden Inn only b/c of their free shuttle. Their customer service is HORRIBLE!!!! I had to call them for 2 weeks to get the lady to call me back and block off my rooms... THEN my friend calls up to book a room, and they kept her on hold for so long she just hung up. Seriously, I was SO ANNOYED by this- There better not be any other problems or I will lose it!

Re: The official JERICHO TERRACE thread

I blocked off rooms at the La Quinta. The bridal suite is a great size and very nice. The price was better than the Marriott. They also have a shuttle to and from the Jericho Terrace. That was very important to me to have a shuttle, or most people won't stay. Check out the La Quinta in Garden City. They were very helpful.

Re: The official JERICHO TERRACE thread

I booked the Hilton Garden Inn and I have had nothing but great customer service! That is so funny how we had different experiences. I did also book right when JT and them were talking about the deal so it wasn't as busy. I know that since then when I have spoken with Nadine, she has said things have gotten crazy because of all the JT brides who are calling to book.

When I needed more rooms, I called her and she was great with me and I had 10 more rooms added right away. No problems for me... I have 25 rooms booked there with 19 filled so far and no complaints.

we did LaQuinta and we went down and had breakfast with everyone the next morning - its in the lobby and its included for all hotel of the guests - it was nice and we got to see just about everyone who stayed over.....we didn't use their shuttle b/c we got one through our limo co - instead we used the shuttle credit towards the cost of the bridal suite.....

Wow that's really good I can't wait to go do this! :) I feel like having breakfast all together the next morning may even be a little more intimate then having a brunch set up that's more formal. Most of the guests that will stay over are very close to us and not many OOT just from around the area.

I have a question about the hotel. I'm not sure if you got ready there along with your bridal party but I'm not sure what I should do. I will be getting ready at the hotel with my bridal party bc I am from Staten Island and not risking traffic the day of the wedding. My question is if I get ready in one suite with all my girls, do I just get late checkout for that suite so that I can use it all the way up until we're ready to leave for the church (about 2 hours later). Or do I have to purchase that room for both nights, when I'd really want to stay in the honeymoon suite for the wedding night obviously. Do they have a honeymoon suite, am I on the right track. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

TIA!
