Her pricing was very good. She really tries to work with your budget. She takes her time and listens to you. My sis and I was there for like 1 - 1 1/2 hrs just talking about ideas. I didnt book on the spot but I went again with my mom. My mom loved her. I have a big BP also 7girls 7 guys.

Thats good too know. So far I have been recommended to Design by Rose, Flower Michelle & Pedestals. I have 11 girls, 10 guys, 2 JR BMS. Where is she located?

Yeah. I can't wait to see when it's done either. I hope it's everything I want it to be. Because I really wanted the Dome room but FH convinced me into taking the Penthouse just because it was going to be their newer room. The only thing I was a little skeptical about was the floor. Didn't it look a little odd to you in the pics that they gave.

yeah he is in the lobby playing the piano during CH. Basically while guests are walking into JT they see him and hear him playing.

I am a JT bride, too! And I vaguely remember Rob saying that there was someone there playing the piano when guests walked in.

they Jt bride 8/23/2009. ok i got little tick off today when i went to look at cakes for my wedding. As you girls know JT gives you your wedding cake but they dont tell you that you pick from a 20 page book of the most (at least in my opnion) ugliest cakes ever. I was pissed because I had pics of what i wanted my cake to look like and everything and when I went to the place the girl said no I had to pick from the book.grrr. So I asked what my cake would cost if I didnt go through JT and she said $ 850. I was really planning on using that money on something esle but I cant bring myself to choose one of those cakes from the book. For all the girls who dont know none of the cakes r in fondont its all buttercream so old school. Does anyone esle mad about this or am I being a brat.

Are you serious. Where do they get their cakes from? Is it from Dortoni's? Because I had a bad experience with them over the summer not wedding related, but I said to myself that if this was the place that I will just let JT know that I'm going to use my own bakery and ive me credit towards something else?

yes it is dortoni's. they wont give you credit I just was speaking to them about. Im sooo freaking pissed. They told me they wont give me credit for anyother place and that the only credit i would get is the amt of guests i have for a different cake at dortoni's. i want to kill them. bc when i booked with them i was excited that i didnt have to but a cake bc it was incl. now i learned that you get freaking chessey cake that i can do at home. dont get me wrong they had beautiful cakes there at the place but you have to pay for them. and the nerve of JT telling me to come in and they had a 20page book that had cakes. but six of them are the same has what i saw at dortoni's. I cant vent enough about this. My whole day was ruined about this lie.

Okay so lets say I don't want a cake at all from Dortoni's what will happen? Will they give you something else in it's place? I'm thinking of getting my cake from another bakery. Meaning that I will pay for it out of my pocket because I refuse to work w/ Dortoni's.

I am the 1st bride in the new penthouse room =)

A little nervous that renovations will not be completed in time, but after seeing the new dome last week I am COMPLETELY speechless!!!! It is beyond breathtaking <3 <3 <3

The floor which is not yet installed was the one patters/design aspect that I was not fond of. It is too busy for me, and I was originally told that it would not be that busy of a design, but it's looking like it will be. But with the dome on that ceiling NO ONE will even notice the floor =) It is one of the most exquisite reception rooms I have seen =)

im not creative at all but I will give this my best shot...I have the skylight room but I have seen the dome room and I dont think that just because you have the dome room, you have to have high centerpieces. I like the idea but I think the vase should be at least a little higher than the one in the pic and should have more of a design to it. I think the flowers submerged in water sounds good but maybe no candle floating on top, just the candles around the vase and rose petals too. Im not sure about the mirror...I cant visualize that part too well. Good luck!

I don't think you have to go with tall centerpieces at all. I am doing low centerpieces (1 bigger one and 2 little ones) and my reception is in the dome room. I am not a big fan of the tall centerpieces and FH and I wanted to do something low. I know tall cp's are the thing to do but it's just not our thing... Whatever you do, I am sure it will be beautiful. Show us pics when you do your mock-up and we'll let you know what we think.
