I believe venetian hour is 10 extre pp and i believe they have a sundea station and just about every desert u can imagine lol.. also if u chew down ur bm u might get them to throw in a chocalate fountain which we did ahaha scoree

Just bumping...

Did anyone ever find out the color of the linens? Someone mentioned the linens were too busy and I was just curious if this was a change from the cream/champagne colored ones I saw a few months ago.

yes I'd like to know also re: linens. When we visited December 1st to make a payment the Dome room had the cream off-white linens.

I also wanted to mention that the gentlemen who showed us around mentioned that not only are they doing the 'uplighting' in the Dome like in the Penthouse, but that they are going to be redoing the floors. Has anyone else heard about this?

no, the linens that people saw within the last year have not changed. im sorry, the reason i said 'new' was because when i booked back in january of 09, jt said they were new.

what other upgrades did you guys get and if you dont mind saying, how much were you able to get them for (compared to the prices that are listed or that they originally give you)

Off the top of my head, we were given the viennese hour for i believe 3 dollars less than what is listed and the chocolate fountain was free. We got the wine cart service, martini bar, and the roasted pig/huge fish option for CH thrown in, and two ice sculptures.

hey Jtterssss. i set up by appointment to pick our menu next monday at 8pm! so excited!!!! Anna has left (whic im happy about cuz the only thing negative i ever read about jt was about this chic). A lady named Linda is now the banquet coordinator, she sounds nice and thats who we're meeting with!!!!

eta: i didnt get our letter yet but i thought i remember hearing that the meeting is about 2.5 months prior and im at a week short of 3 months right now so i thought the letter should have come maybe so i just called. it hadnt gone out but she said it would be soon, so she set it up no problem

I just went to jt 2day to leave a deposit and yes there are getting new floor and new carpet in the dome room as well as the uplighting!!! Cant wait 2 see it when its done in mid feb.

Thanks for the update! I'm so happy the uplighting will be done soon!! Did they mention anything about how the carpet would look?

yeayyyy...so excited about the new carpet....lol...Honestly, that was the only thing that bothered me about the Dome Room was the carpet. Now I'm happy!

I went to see the new Dome Room 2 weeks ago...OMG its gorgeous!! the uplighting is fabulous...there's new chandelier. Its so beautiful!!
