Oh so I have my first question, I thought I heard Mike, my bm say that there is a piano player for the CH but that doesnt seem right since the piano is in the enterence. Anyone know?

yeah he is in the lobby playing the piano during CH. Basically while guests are walking into JT they see him and hear him playing.

Sorry meant to ask this before, did you still get separate music for your CH, even tho the piano was being played? I'm guessing it's still needed since the piano is more in the lobby?

I booked La Quinta also for our wedding day. Its 159/room. If you have any questions you can FM me. But I personally went there and the room were in good condition.

I blocked rooms at La Quinta and they were easy to deal with. I have to say i didnt stay there so dont know about service or anything like that, DH and I stayed at a separate hotel in the city. Honestly we didnt even have alot of OOT guests, so very few . The rate was $159 for blocked rooms

Espo - I wanted to ask you.... Im using Starlight Express - regarding the lighting that you were talking about.... was that from the pilars that they put up or did you actually have them add more lights? I want a nice look sorta like Christina Agulerias wedding (the blue look) but I dont want to take it away from the room. What do you suggest ?

i had the pilars, i think thats all i had lol not sure. Its so weird but i said yeah just do the lighting when i booked. The day of i saw the pilars but cant say if i noticed other lights around the room, its funny how the day of you dont pay attention to half the stuff you obsess about beforehand. You can ask them if they add more, or bring in a pic of christina aguilera's wedding and say you want it to look like that.

yeah im almost sure it was just pilars, dont remember anything else.

Trust me i know how you feel, i obsessed about every little detail. Let me say that i NEVER saw my placecard table the day of lol and only in pics did i notice other details. The whole day there is SO much going on and youre pulled in every direction, from saying your hello's, to vendors asking you before they do things, to taking pics, to running to the dance floor that you dont notice. Honestly youre so happy and on cloud 9 that all the details you wont obsess about bc the way you are feeling is most important.

Of course they bring you into the room before they let anyone else in so you can see. But its more like you take the room in as a whole. I did go up to the table and looked at how stuff looked, looked at cake but right after that it goes by so fast and youre busy the whole time. I didnt even have time to eat, bc i was saying hello to everybody, then running to the dancefloor, then vendors coming up to me such as dj asking about ppl making song requests of telling me about something coming up i have to do, or maitre'd going over something coming up and i have to do, then ppl running over to take pics, i didnt have a second to breathe lol.

I know its going to happen but I told my best friend she can handle the payments and anything else that would make the day less stressful just so not everything is on me. oh no not even the payments, i had a doc so took care of that. We just had tips to give but that wasnt bad. But for example before you do first dance they come up to you a while before to let you know, then before you do cake cutting they'll come to you and let you know so youre there. Or before they showed our photo montage, our dj came up to us like 10 mins before to let us know so we're there to see it. Then our videographer did a same day wedding movie trailer and again had to come up to us and tell us to be in the room bc he'll play it in 10 mins. It was mostly stuff like that, and those are things they have to tell you first hand.

I still had alot of fun dont get me wrong. But if they even see you anywhere off the dancefloor you have guests asking for pictures or coming up to you to talk. We couldnt really sit and just eat bc even then we had ppl coming to the table.

Dont worry the day is filled with stuff but you will have the most amazing day of your life

awww youre welcome girls, i went through the process so remember how it was

as far as placecards, no i dont have any pics sorry. I do remember they were like an off white color that folded in half, had a border then said jericho terrace on top, i think in green, and then underneath said M____________ and table number.

I live in Brooklyn so I dont get a chance to see the RH often. Im thinking of going to the showcase in February just to see it again Whenever I get real stressed about stuff I just go to the website and its like AAaahhh..everything feels better
