I think I remember the price for Francesca to be around $950.
I thought that JT gives you a planner for free, no![]()
& also what exactly would you be paying her for
I'm not sure what they do besides give you advice
![]()
I was asking how much she charged for DOC. To meet with her as a planner she's free.

Lorin... You are very welcome! I am not sure about a minimum but they did not give me a comp room. I asked about it, too... That part kind of ****** but they are saving me some money and the headache of having to arrange the shuttle. Such a relief not to have to deal with it....
Very very true!
i guess we cant win em all

Oops...I thought I originally posted this here but I didnt lol
For any past or present JT brides.....do you know whats included in the Viennese Hour?? I know its ALOT but I was wondering if there was a candy station or is that something that we would have to provide? I was thinking of having guests take home some of the sweets in containers. TIA!
Im not getting the vh but im almost positive that the candy bar is extra. It should be in the book on the extras page but maybe you can substitue a few things on the vh display for some candy and provide little tin boxes or something if thats what you were thinking.

I love uplighting but I love the room so much and it has so many details that I dont know if it would take away from the room or give it a cheesy feel instead of the elegant feel it really has??

Re: The official JERICHO TERRACE thread
Just as a side note to the hotel situation I feel like I've heard recent reviews of brides (sorry I can't think of their names specifically) who have used the Wingate and the shuttle was included as well. I will check that out eventually but the Hilton sounds great as well, thanks!

Re: The official JERICHO TERRACE thread
we used La Quinta and they were great - and reasonable priced - we didn't use their shuttle (we took a credit towards the bridal suite which i had for 2 days) and we used a limo bus as the shuttle for our guests (which we got through our limo - we used camelot)......i had uplighting and loved it - with that said i've seen uplighting that i didn't like as well - i don't really care for it when it changes colors - but that is just my personal preference......i liked the way our room looked b/c it was speceific to the wintery vibe we wanted....
i think the skylight room is gorgeous and looks great in candle light - we had our ceremony in there and we did it candle lit and dim lights and it was really pretty.... i don't think the room needs anything else- my SIL had her reception in that room a few years ago and she had candles, red rose centerpieces and it was gorgeous - the room speaks for itself for sure!

dont get anything extra, trust me there is more than enough at the VH and there are stuff ppl can take home. We did VH and just some of the stuff were popcorn, cotton candy, candy apples, zeppoles, waffle bar, cannoli's, cakes, creme brulee, crepes, and TONS more stuff. I did have some guest who took the candy apples home or the bags of popcorn.

Thanks for the info. Did you by any chance see the bar? I want to have an after party at the bar. A few of my family members once had an afterparty at La Quinta in the bar and they couldnt stop saying great things. Do you know how big the bar is?

there is a bar - we didn't make it to any after parties though - i know some people hung out in their rooms after but DH and went back to the suite to relax.....the bar is def a decent size area though.....they also use that area for breakfast in the morning......its in the far corner of the lobby......in the morning we came down and everyone was in that area eating breakfast - it was a continental breakfast - nothing crazy - bagels, fruit, cereal, muffins, coffee, tea, stuff like that - but it was nice, we came down and everyone was excited to see us and we made our rounds down there and ate with everyone.....i have no complaints, the hotel was great....

yeah it changed through the night, but slowly. Like at first it was blue, then next hour i think purple or pinkish. I think the pic with just the table has a pinkish type light on it.
Its up to you and personal preference. I always loved the pics of receptions with the uplighting and thought it added something to it. I didnt want any of the lights on and told them that. I had candles on each table and had walked in when it was just the candles that were lit and they had some scones type lights on the walls and it was dark. So this way i was able to keep it dark but that lighting added the light i wanted. Your dj will have pics of this, they have pics of the lighting they do in rooms so you will be able to know better if you like it or not. Until you hire a dj i wouldnt worry about it, once you meet with them and see what they do then you can better decide.

awww thank you so much. And dont worry, its all overwhelming now but everything does fall into place. For most things i would wait until you see the vendors associated with what you want. DJ's have different lighting packages, some do what others dont so you have to wait until you see what they do, and also their prices to see what package you want.
