THE OFFICIAL STAY IN AND STAY WARM FRIDAY NIGHT POSTING PARTY~

Well, since I got some response I thought I'd start the thread! LIW and Say Yes to the Dress (SYTTD), plus hot chocolate and pajamas sounds like a great night!

To start it off: what is your favorite wedding show on TV now?

I liked TLC's Wedded to Perfection but I think there were only two episodes? I also love SYTTD and My Fair Wedding with David Tutera.

Come one come all post questions, comments, random thoughts, etc.

I love SYTTD! Especially since I am going to Kleinfelds tomorrow(depending on the weather to put a down payment on my dress.

I don't think you are behind. I didn't book anything else yet. We are going to start after the holidays. Kleinfelds told me that I need about 8 months for my dress. We can keep each other in check this year!

YES! Definitely need to be kept in check haha. You have an RH at least, we are going to start looking at possibilities on Monday!

I still just really love Bridezillas...and oldie but goodie. I like My Fair Wedding also.

Do you have a ceremony location yet? I am going to book our church in the next few weeks. There is just sooo much to do. I fell in love with the 3rd RH we visited. We booked that night.

***I liked Bridezillas when I first started watching it. Now I'm kind of bored of it. I do watch once in a while though

ceremony is going to be at the same location - traditionally Jewish weddings have everything happen all at once, so we will go right from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception....

i'm hoping we won't need to look at more than the 7 places our planner booked for us...hehe...i don't know what it is about wedding planning but my normally strong decision-making skills have been shot to h*ll!

I usually watch my fair wedding and say yes to the dress. I'll catch happily ever faster sometimes. It's okay.

regy told me that at jewish weddings you're supposed to have cocktail hour before the ceremony...we're not doing that.

Em- many people do both - we aren't either, just cocktail hour after. And yaaay about the heater!!!!

i don't know if i should be posting on this thread because soon i'm going to be leaving so i'm not staying and staying warm.....BUT i'm going to a 'dance party' at the dance studio that we're taking lessons at.........so that DEFINITELY doesn't count as going out on a friday night!!!! we'll see how it goes!! i think my fh will be freaking out. he normally REFUSES to dance in front of other people.

updating to get some more convo flowing.

FH and I are midway through season 3 of Mad Men, so we're watching that now. On Fridays I'm usually so tired from the week we plop down and watch TV and at 11 I get into bed and watch say yes to the dress while he plays video games.

do most others have as exciting a friday night routine as I do??

we sort of always assumed we'd do it b/c at this point FH would NEVER dance in public......so if we were going to do a first dance, we had to prepare we LOVE it!!!!!!! we have so much fun!!! now we just have to see if that goes for a public get-together too!!!!
