Ok..I dont know how to post pics on here!

Hey girls!

Did anyone ever hear about the solution for getting guest into the cocktail hour on the porch? Are they still walking by the pool? Is a wall definitely being made to block vision of the pool??

As for the bridal party -if we're in the main ballroom and the new Bridal suite on the main floor & our BP wants to attend cocktail hour -they have to go outside and down the path by the pool too -right??

Im trying to make an apptmt with Danny at Westchester Floral today. Are we contracted to stick with a recommended Limo?? I forget!

Also...I have no clue how to post the pics of the sketches on here. Help?

Is there an updated list of all the SC brides??!!

I havn't talked to Jaime yet... ill prob call him sometime in april to ask him all those details

no we are not contracted to use their limos... i booked with camelot limos....

in order to post pics you gotta resize them first.. its a pain in the butt and is why i never really post pictures

i made a list of the surf club brides.. its on the first page of this thread!!!


BTW.. where is everyone taking pictures??!!? are you girls going to a park? or just taking all your pics at the surf club???

Hey ladies...I made appointments to meetw ith Westchester floral (Danny) the week of 4/6! Wish me luck!!

As for pictures being taken...not 100% sure yet. I'd say it depends on weather & timing for me. If its chilly...we may take a few outside and inside & thats it! The grounds are amazing...so it'll be gorgeous regardless!!!

Theres a park down the road that we plan on doing some pics at and than the rest will be at the surf club


BTW, about that pool situation, I heard they are putting up a fence or something that will block the entering guest from the sight of the pool, I guess to numb the eyesore. We can all scope that at the expo to be certain though :)

At that time I didnt book with them and I booked last week. I never asked about the chair covers, b.c I dont like them.But usually in halls when they throw them in they pride on it, I know with Fox Hollow they give them and it was stated right away. I doubt SC would bc they will have brand new chairs.Also I believe they rent out the chaircovers while most halls have their own.

I dont think I was rude by saying no bc I was in between two places. Call your BM and ask and maybe in person they will give in.

WhoA Whoa WHoa..What the eff is up with the shannigans about people swimming in the pool while we are getting married?? Are they kidding me at almost 250 a plate..Seriously are they nuts?? I got the tiki bar too..Oh man..Thats such bullsh!.Amazing how they forget to mention that when they send letters requesting more money..Over my dead body while Im getting married am I gonna listen to some spolied brats do canon balls..
As far as a florist is concerned when I booked over a yr ago Odyssey was a choice..I would rather use a florist where I live in Queens..Maybe I should put on my invites bring some swimmies and a tube to join the pool party..this ish is not right....

I agree with your ladies 110% I would be so annoyed and upset with SC, esp since its is hands down the most expensive hall on Davenport Rd. I am getting married in the winter so it is not a concern.

Does anyone know if I was to use instead of flowers candlbra who would set up the hall? Do i need to hire someone?
