Hey Girls!
I noticed there were tons of questions flying around about the Surf Club in New Rochelle, so lets all help each other!

Sorry if I keep going back & forth, but as I remember things I keep coming back. Please make sure if you want to take pics on the beach they clean it. I was there the night before my wedding with was on a Friday and there was empty wine & beer bottle on the outside seats and in the gazebo. The sand also look like **** SO I had to have them clean everything. We also made candle centerpieces in a hurricane vase with sand they were a choked, so in my dress I was running around making everything right. I wish I would have hired a day planner to take care of all these things. I really didn't need the stress.

Does anyone know if they got approved for the hallway on the 1st floor from the entrance to the back for the cocktail hour?That is probably my main concern for my wedding bc I don’t like the idea that my guest have to walk through the main ballroom to get to the cocktail hour!!

Also can someone FM me Jaime email address?

You can request that they let the guest in from the outside, they will have to use the steps to go into your cocktail hour.

Ok, so for the record, I emailed Jamie last night and FH is awaiting his phone call. I really am mighty pissed. If I knew this than, this would have probably made me not even book with them. I think its so unclassy. And cheesy. I hope Jamie calls my FH, well he better call my FH and not me b/c I am not as level headed as FH.

Hello. I am wondering if any of you are planning on hiring a day of coordination planner for the day of the wedding. I am going back and forth on whether I need one or not. I met with a planner that was awsome,(but pricy )and I felt like I would have no worries if I hired her, but then I have a friend who got married in Oct at Tappan Hill and she said her maitre'D did everything. I wish I knew someone who got married at the SC so I could ask them if they needed one!

Girls! I just booked Surf Club yesterday!!!!!!!! Our date is March 26th, 2010!!!!

I have pics of the sketches they have of the final product and am blown away! I mean....I have always LOVED the Surf Club ...& now they've managed to make it even more gorgeous!!!!

Does anyone have any insight on Westchester Floral? I was told theyre someone we def. need to look into to book.

Congratulations! We knew from the second we walked into the Surf Club that that was the place and it is going to be beautiful. We booked Westchester Floral. Make an appointment with Danny. He is so nice and really knows what he is talking about. Meeting with him was the highlight of our plannning bc he made our vision come to life. Good luck!

I totally got one. I am using Francesca from Dazzling affairs. We are coming from LI, and that means keeping a tight schedule for pics before the ceremony and organizing the additional stuff. They work exclusively with the maitre D to coordinate the event and make sure it runs smoothly. Getting from Point A to Point B is the challenge. If its in your budget, I would totally do it. Save you a world of stress.

Hi!!! Welcome and mucho congrats! Let us know if you need help with anything. Oh and go to Westchester floral and def. speak to Danny!!!! That man is a wonderful creative person and def. knows how to work with any budget. And he totally is going to make the surf club look more perfect for my wedding day :)
