I thought I had it all straight, but the more I think about it, the more confused I get. We are putting the deposit on the RH on Thursday, and I have e-mailed a few pastor/reverends. After that, what would be the next thing on my 'to do' list? When do you look for a photographer? Do most photographers give you e-pics too? If so, when do you take those? Would you use your e-pics for your STD's? I'm confused.....

I would definitely try to book the vendors that need to reserve the date. Photographer, Videographer, DJ, Limos. You have to speak to the Photographer regarding e-pics, not all of them throw that in. I would send the STD 6-9 months before. I will be sending mine out this month (beg. of Oct the latest). HTH

I booked my RH in early August. I hope to book my band next week, and I am making a few appts with photographers for the next few weeks, hoping to have one by mid-October. I wasn't planning on doing much else until January. If I book anyone, it will be an officiant. But I have no idea where to even start on that one ....

I would say that if you want certain specific vendors, then you should try to book those ASAP. You don't want to wait too long and then not be able to use them.
As for us-we booked our hall at the end of August and we booked our photo/video vendor the first week of Sept. I want to find an officiant, book a DJ and book the honeymoon (using miles so it needs to be early) by the end of October. I am not going to worry about flowers and limos until Jan-Feb.
