The Pact- A great read

I don't usually post here and soory if you all have read this and posted about it already. I am just about finished and all I can say is I am struggling to put it down. It is written by Jodi Picoult.

Really good book and was a quick read.

I read this book a few months ago - I could not put it down either. I have also read Perfect Match by the same author, and it was great as well.

I agree, it was a quick read. But, I just thought it was so unrealistic. I mean really - the kid wouldn't tell ANYONE what his girlfriend wanted to do?? Gimme a break.

Sometimes I think I'm too much of a realist for some books. I spoil it for myself.

Was this the one about the three inner city friends who promised each other they would all become doctors? And the story tells about their struggles?

Juliet, no. This was about a suicide pact that two teen lovers made.

So, last week I was reading this thread, and decided to order The Pact form the Library. Well I got it but its not by Jodi Picoult - its a story about 3 Newark boys who make a pact and it tells their kind of rags to riches story - I think it a true story....oh, I might as well read it
