The Post Office Stinks! (vent)

We mailed out our eparty invitations the beginning of September for our party on 10/22.

As the date of the party got closer, I found out from my best friend in Chicago that he never got an invitation. So I confirmed his address, and sent a second one out to him. Ok, so it was my fault, I had a typo in his house #.

At the party he tells me that he never got either invitation I sent! I checked his address 4 times before I mailed the second one, so I have no idea where it ended up.

And today we got the first invitation returned to us by the post office ... 2 MONTHS AFTER I MAILED IT!!!

This does not inspire confidence when its time to mail the wedding invitations!

Ok ... vent over ...

They aren't my favorite people either.

I had one invite that was missing a street number (not on a street with a lot of houses mind you) that got returned - the save the date didn't.

They told FH they no longer hand cancel.

Some guests didn't receive invites and I haven't received them back yet.

When MOH sent the check for her dress, she sent it to my old address 3 months after I moved. It never got forwarded and someone tried to cash the check last week (6 months later so luckily the bank stopped it!)
