The rain held off yesterday, but it POURED for me!!!
Warning, a bit long, but I loved everything so much I just had to share!!! My girls did such an amazing job with my 'surprise' shower yesterday!!! They were so good about not saying anything or giving it away, but other people let tiny little things slide and I had put it together and guessed. Then someone made a comment about all the women heading out together on Saturday and I knew for sure ![]()
So, even though I wanted a surprise shower, I figured it out... I decided to have a little fun with it and worry my girls a bit ![]()
I told them that I was invited to Eliana's (enjft) shower and that I would be going out there on Saturday and even posted about it here, knowing that my girls read the boards ![]()

They still didn't let on that they were worried or anything.
Anyway, the shower was really really great!!! They took my blue/brown theme and totally ran with it! All the details were great and I was super touched that they put SO much effort into everything.
I am a picture FANATIC, so the girls asked all the guests to bring pictures of them with me and they were all posted on a huge poster board. So cool!
One of my BM’s also put together 3 16x20 collages with different themes – one was “Girls’ night out” with pics of me with my girlfriends at different outings, another was “Vacation Fun” with pics of me on vacation with my friends, and the last was “Questionable Kodak Moments” with super silly pictures.
Other GREATTTTT touches were personalized magnum bottles of wine with my e-pics on them (they did 2 different labels, each with a different picture), and personalized Hershey Nugget chocolates with the same two pictures.
The favors were these really pretty brown and blue LOVE coasters – I had never seen them before!
And my cake!!!! I thought it was SOOOO beautiful! It looked like a mini wedding cake! They wrapped blue and brown striped ribbon around the levels and put rose petals and votive candles around it. LOVED it!!! And it was Dominican cake! YUMMMMMM!

There were so many things that I can’t even remember everything! I am beyond thankful to the BM’s who threw my shower! And to my mom too for helping.

And for presents – wow!!!! Everyone was so generous and I am so amazed! We got a lot of great gifts like our bedding, plates, microwave, pots, our Love Knots toasting flutes and cake server, etc. Just amazing.

I got a cami and undies set personalized in my colors and new name! - Check out my niece's (FG) reaction - too cute!

So, thank you for reading my super long review of my shower. It was truly amazing and I was blown away… and REALLY touched at just how much effort went into everything.
