The RH hunt has ended!

I'm officially a 2012 bride. For me, the hunt for a RH was extremely stressful and exhausting. I felt like we would never find our perfect place but we did and officially booked today at the surf club in new rochelle. I figured I would list all of the places we visited in hopes of helping someone else going through the same thing.

We were looking for a beachy feel but still keeping a formal ballroom. At one point when we were losing hope, we started veering away and checked out a ton of other venues as well. Here's the list. I'd be happy to answer any questions about any of these, as best as I can. Many were great but were all booked up and others just didn't 'fit us.' There are also many more we looked into but didn't actually visit or had others visit for us. Here you go:

We were really looking for a great outdoor space as well as inside (having our ceremony on site and wanted an outdoor cocktail hour). The back of greentree is actually a pool for the club members. When we went to check it out on a weekend (during a wedding) the pool was packed. I think the ceremony space is back beyond that. If you are not looking for an outdoor space def check it out. Otherwise maybe try Surf Club, Bechwithe Pointe, or Glen Island (we didn't see Glen Island but have friends getting married there soon. Let me know if you have any other questions!
