Re: The Riviera in Brooklyn
My friend got married there back in 2006. She had her reception hall narrowed down to the Riviera and Russo's and chose Riviera because it was closer to her church in SI.
Now that I'm getting married at Russo's she CANNOT WAIT to go...
Her wedding was awesome...the cocktail hour was inside and set up a little strange, but not bad strange. It actually reminded me of a Russo's wedding. I personally like the room layout at Russo's better, but that's JMO.

I have been to a ton of weddings there - you get to choose from like 10 different entres as a guest.

Re: The Riviera in Brooklyn
My MOH got married there last year. What exactly do you want to do know?
I liked the bridal suite a lot and they brought ton of CH food in there for us. Cocktail hour was in a different room, loft type of room with a ton of yummy options. There was like 12 opetions for dinner and you get 2nds. The room is narrow and the dancefloor is a decent size. Everything went beautifully.
Are you considering switching venues?

I attended a friends winter wedding there a couple years ago. The food was good and I remember the service being great.

Re: The Riviera in Brooklyn
My older son got married there and it was fabulous!!!!!!! You have nothing to worry about it was great from the moment we walked in until we left with left overs. The food was to die for! The only reason my younger didn't to have his wedding there is because he didn't want people to think he was 'copying' his brother. They are the Russo's of Brooklyn.
