The Runner Up:

Ladies, if the reception hall that you booked did not exist or for some reason you couldn't have your wedding there-- what/where would you have picked as your 'second choice' place to get married??

I'm curious to see what other places you all loved very much-- but for one reason or another you went with the one you did and not that one.

If not mentioned: why don't you guys add in where you chose to go-- I think people's choices will mimic styles and stuff-- IE: if you like water then Land's End and Lombardi's on the Sound would make sense, ya know?

Where did you choose instead if you don't mind me asking? I don't think I remember you telling me it before, maybe I'm mistaken

I loved Flower Field. A bit to far for my guests. Floral Terrace was a bit out of my price rang. But I love so much about the above places.

Re: The Runner Up:

To be honest, I really did not have one. As soon as I pulled up at East Wind I knew that was it.

I always in my head thought Oheka Castle, but I have never been there. Just loved the pictures I have seen.

Re: The Runner Up:

I had a really hard time deciding between our RH (Venetian Yacht Club) and the Estate at East Wind. I made FH choose. He chose VYC bc it's on the water and is closer for our us and our guests.

you know it's funny you mention that-- i made an appt to SEE in person the woodlands about a week after we saw FF for the first time-- and I loved FF so much that we just booked on the spot and we were SO happy words can't describe-- well, once I got home and realized that i had this appt to see the other place i 'loved' from the website i said uh oh-- better call and cancel b/c i already booked and i'm going with my gut/love at first site thing--- b/c i was afraid i was going to go there and then have to make that terribly hard decision-- so i called and cancelled and chickened out like a big baby!!! LOL
