Re: The SandCastle???
I've been to a wedding at the Sandcastle, and it was amazing! The food is great, the rooms are beautiful. Me and my FH went to look there and they changed a bit, the renovated and the place looks beautiful, but they changed to a one wedding hall, which we thought was good until we heard the prices jacked up really high. They offer a honeymoon in Greece included (you have to pay for airfare) but the price was just too much for us. If money wasn't an issue we would prop have booked it!

Re: The SandCastle???
I have been to a few weddings at Sandcastle and my FH and I also checked it out for our own wedding. They are newly renovated and now only do one affair at a time. From the weddings we attended there the food was AMAZING and the ballroom is really nice. They have added drapes to the ceiling, which look very nice, and are adding an outside section to the coctail hour room. The reason we didn't book there was because they gave us a rediculous quote to start, then when we said that was way out of our budget, they lowered it 20 dollars which was still way out of budget (and mind you our budget for a Friday night was about 130-140 a plate). We ended up leaving and booking Jericho Terrace the next day. About two weeks after that, Sandcastle called us and told us they would give us our date for a price that was now within our budget!!! that was super frustrating and made us feel that they was playing games with us (why couldn't they have given us that price to begin with????) So, Sandcastle is a really nice and classy place with amazing food. However, they seemed to play some price games and so I would definitely try to bargain a price with them. Good luck with whatever decision you make!
