Hey, where did the other messages go??
Help! I posted this to thank everyone for their suggestions (which I intended to print out when I got home from work) but now I can't seem to find them (or my original posting, for that matter) posted to the message boards any longer! Anyone have any clue what happened here?? I'm so bummed I can't find all your great suggestions!

Port Jefferson Country Club
We're getting married there in 25 days!! It's right on the water, the food is excellent, the view is unmatched and the staff has been very helpful. We moved to Louisville, KY 3 years ago, and have planned everything long distance. (thanks mom & MOH) You can check out their website at: http://www.portjeffcc.com It's wonderful!! Good luck!

Hi again-earlier I seconded recommendation of the Thatched Cottage in Centerport (thatchedcottage.com). Great service, pretty grounds, good food. Hard-to-impress, very critical FI (former banquet manager) was completely, yup, impressed. $$ reasonable. Good luck and best wishes!!

The Hamlet Wyndwatch in Hauppauge
I am getting married there Nov. 2002. It is a one-wedding place, very elegant. It is on a golf course and they have a 10 person cart that you can use to take photos on the course with. The whole place is beautiful, simple and elegant. Also try the Meadow Club, It is really nice, food is good and very resonable.Welcome New Vendors
