I just picked up the original Shopoholic book by Sophie Kinsella and its sort of a slow start. Im not into the job the main character has so Im having a hard time identifying w. her.
Tell me the book gets better and is worth the read

Re: The 'Shopoholic' books
I was going to finish it, but not read the other 2. It got better at the end and I'm starting the second one today.

I read Shopaholic ties the Knot on a plane - I couldn't identify with the main character at all.

Re: The 'Shopoholic' books
i read the fisrt one, quick read, but i didn't really enjoy it. the character is too hard to relate to. it might do for a beach read, but there are better books out there.

Hey girls!!
I guess I'm the only one but I really love the Shopaholic Series.. I read all of them (the latest one is she has a 'sister') I think her books are hysterical.. I love her style of writing...Maybe it's just me but I love like British books (bridget jones/ Jane green /Alexandra Potter.. also love Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen is my all time fave!!!)

Re: The 'Shopoholic' books
Ditto for me - the 1st one was a slow start for me...but once it got going I really enjoyed it - so much so that I read all of them and I am now reading Sophie Kinsella's other book, Can You Keep A Secret?
