The shower was great!

I cannot believe my shower is over! It was at my house today - a wonderful time - everybody got along so well. I hated the open the gift time, but I guess we all have to just deal with how embarassing that is! (And isn't bad to get EVERYTHING on your registry!)

I have to say, I am so glad it's over, and that the ball is officialy rolling now.

I had my shower this weekend too! I was totally shocked! Were you? I didn't think they would be able to surprize me, but they did and I ended up crying hysterically...especially after seeing some of the guests who traveled very far distances to be there. It made me feel very special. I'm glad you had a great time and got all your registry items. I can't wait to be married to use all the new goodies!!!

thanks all! It was great - not a surprise though ( I am too much of a control freak!) But we had it catered so there was no pressure...it was great. Sonic - everything is a go at St. Patricks - we went w. the main altar because the chapel only seats about 75 people and I am just not sure who will come - we have such a big Italian Irish family - they are liable to all make it to the church! We have pre-cana on the 21st and the final meeting w. the monsignor but everything seems to be going smoothly - thanks for asking!

As for the final weeks flying by ....I KNOW!!!!! I am freaking out! It feels like I won't remember anything of Sept and Oct. It is very exciting! And scary!
