If you don't mind me asking, how are you figuring out the size of your wedding?
Is it the size of family, friends? Budget contraints?
This is becoming such a bone of contention between FH and me.
He said if it was up to him, it would just be our immediate families (like 20 people). I want to have my friends there too (they are all excited that after 14 years, we're finally getting married).
The only thing I can come up with is making up an A list, B list and C list and putting friends and family on the A list and then co-workers on the B list.
I wish FH was just a tiny bit more social....

Hahah we actually just sat down and did our list Just our friends Well I have about 68 people and he has like 12 I was like your such a loser! But he has abig family so we planned on a little under 200

We both have small families and close knit groups of friends, so we are guessing somewhere around 100-125. We wanted to keep it kind of small anyway since we don't have a very large budget.

We are inviting 180-200 people and hoping to have 140-150. Most of the people are for me.

All those interconnect....the budget limits the size....the size affects the budget. The first thing you should do is make a list of all the people that you must invite and go from there. Once you start booking vendors, then you can make adjustment to size, in regards to inviting friends, coworkers, etc. If you plan and prioritize you'll be fine.

I have a HUGE family and FH doesn't. We made a list between family and close friends, and I'm on my side alone I had 110 and he had about 80-90 guests.
So we figure about 200 people will be invited and most likely they will all say YES!

We are planning to have a very small wedding around 60 guests. We have a small budget but we want to do the best w/ small # of guest than do something blahhh with more.

Well our RH only allows 119 guests...so that is our max but I think we are looking at around 100 to 105....we are trying to keep it as small as possible...FH has a HUGE family. I think we are inviting like 12 friends so factor in their significant others and thats it.

I would like to keep it under 100, he wants to keep it at like 50. I was hoping that since we wanted to do a buffet brunch, it might be a little cheaper than a sit-down dinner, so maybe we could have more people.
But I have to say...I can't believe he's got no friends! LOL

we have a 110 minimum for the RH. we're inviting 145. we hope for 110, lol.

i have to guarantee 100 for the RH.....my list right now consists of 136..and we cut it down from like 160 ...because of pricing

I think we are inviting around 225-230 (list is not yet finalized) I hope that only 185 come (or even less would be better!)

We had each side make their list and then we just cut it down so it wasn't to out of control. It was pretty simple now but lets see when the invites have to go out!

uhhh ... we're inviting the world... theres really no budget there... LOL we dont have huge fams but we do have alot of friends... but thankfully we both have essentially the same friends...

We're going to have around 110. We're inviting 120, but I'm sure there will be some no's from his side. I have a huge family and he has a pretty big family..we're only inviting about 15 friends all together.
