Okay, so now that I'm addicted to stalking anyone and everyone I've ever known in my life via Google (and thanks, Juliet, for the Weddingchannel.com tip - you wouldn't believe what I've found out! )

I just found out that this guy I went to a dance with once (didn't even kiss him, I swear!) is an adult website designer!!!

PS: That's websites for adults, not that he's an adult and a web designer!

Just type their name in the google search field. I've been having more fun with the weddingchannel.com search--I love seeing what people registered for!

i don't get it either. i just tried my name and NOTHING (well not me at least). i guess that is a good thing. all i did was type my name in the google search box and click 'search'.

am i doing something wrong?

Not everyone has something posted on the web. But there are a lot of people who did things for school or work projects and they get published and end up on the net.

Also, some Newspapers wedding announcements are online.

One time in college my best friend and I were googling ourselves and found that one of our TAs was selling essays we (along with others in the class) had written! Too funny, he got fired and was asked to leave the university!

eta: they're registered at Dean & Deluca - isn't that a little weird? Maybe I just don't know anything about weddings....

Oh and someone else by my name is an anthropology professor whose specialty is studying cannibalism...I got an email from a guy asking me the caloric and fat content of human flesh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OH GOD I swore swore SWORE I wasn't going to stalk... but I just went onto Wedding Channel.com (damn you all for recommending that! ) and saw a pic of my EX and his FIANCE

Well actually I'm wrong .. they got married this past September.. hey at least I beat him to it!!

Felicia, I think I can one up you... Mr Boots crazy ex was recently dating (but subsequently broke up with) a guy who is Mr Boots' identical twin!! I didn't get that from the internet, a mutual acquaintance told me, but for some reason that sent me into a fit of giggles!

I guess if the information is finding you, that would make you the stalking victim not the stalker.

This happens to me all the time. Actually the other day at Elsa rings, I bumped into my ex friends boyfriend. What are the chances of us both making appointments at the exact same time..

Heres a way to bring back past memeories. Go to aol hometown and search for member webpages. If you remember their screen name almsot everyone made a webpage at one time or another. I did it for one of my exs and its all mushy about me and old inside jokes. its hysterical to read!

I created a monster by telling you about wedding channel, huh? I had so much fun looking up people from high school and college!

I thought I was the only one who did this...

But now I am older so if I want to continue satisfying my curiousity I will have to move on to baby registries.

Googled my only other serious boyfriend too and found his pic on his firm's website. He looks terrible- overweight and he must be putting in too many hours.
