The store where I got my BM dresses stinks!!!!

I'm not posting the name in public..I am VENTING because the seamstress has now managed to screw up all 5 of the dresses. It is not a Long Island store!

Every single one of my girls had an issue with the store owner over the alterations. One of them was accused of not telling them she was pregnant when she ordered the dress(because she WASN'T PREGNANT UNTIL AFTER SHE ORDERED, the dress was ordered too big to begin with, and she subsequently lost the baby), one was yelled at and berated by the owner/seamstress over her hem, and told she doesn't know what she was talking about (the hem was ON THE FLOOR DRAGGING BEHIND HER), another had to have the dress completely re-altered because it was as if they put the dress on someone else after she left and repinned it...it was so completely off from what it was when she first tried it on. The 4th had to have them re-do the entire bust line because she messed up the cups and put one in upside down!!!! And the 5th was told that she changed her shoes after the first fitting because there is no way that the hem would be that wrong without it being a different shoe. She did NOT change the shoes, and the sides of the dress were hanging on the floor, a and the front was shorter than the back!!!

I am so infuriated with the service I could scream!

edited to say: You should scream! Give them HELL! Your girls deserve some sort of reimbursement IMO because of the shoddy service they received. I'd take it up w/ the owner.

i FEEL SO BAD FOR YOU. I had a bad experience with alteration for the last bridal party I was in. I was so fustrated and angry when I picked up my dress that time. I thought I would help my mom and have the hem done there but luckily my mom is a seamstress and was able to fix the dress int ime for the wedding.
I am so sosososos sorry for your hassle.
But definitely give them hell, they should know they cant get away with it. I would refuse to pay for the altertions or demand a refund if i prepaid it. let the girls get involved you have a lot to deal with right now.

I'll have to see how things go in the next 3 days. If my girls don't get what they want..I may just have to.
