The strange people you work with.....

I know I am not the only one who wonders about the screening process that my company has, or lack thereof...how do these people even GET JOBS???

There's this one woman, who RUNS everywhere she goes...swinging her arms like she's powerwalking. She RUNS from her desk to the printer, RUNS back to her desk, RUNS to the bathroom, RUNS back to her desk, PLOWS over people on her way to the cafeteria, RUNS BACK to her desk....I understand running if you are in a hurry to get to the bathroom, but the RUNNING BACK part freaks me out......

Then there's the guy who walks up to the top of the stairs in the middle of the main walkway, looks up at the sky, then walks back down and goes back to his desk...
ETA: he does this several times a day...

Then there's the guy who asked my co-worker for her used, dirty socks so he can sell them on e-bay???? WHAAAT!????!!!???

do we work in the same office?? we have the same runner, but she also takes attendance. you know the type, if XX is out, oh where is XX? is she sick? is this a personal day? the one that is always in everyone business. so annoying. but i have the hypochrondriac. walks with a leg brace, arm brace any type of brace to get attention. i work with a bunch of weirdos.

I work with someone similiar -- more like 'Pity-Me-Guy'.

There's ALWAYS something wrong with him, his ankle is swollen today, he's in for surgery on it again next week, his son is sick, his back hurts, WHATEVER -- it's always SOMETHING with this guy!! And if he has no current complaint -- he always pulls -- AND HATE THIS -- he pulls out how his son died several years ago of leukemia!! We are all sorry that his son died (even though we didn't even know him then) but if you constantly pull out some reference to it when asked to do work -- we are going to start to think differently about it!!

I think poor Monkey takes the cake on this one

that would drive me nuts. so its kind of like this:
boss: 'mr smith, can you please file the orders you have on your dsk?'
MR smith: 'do you know my son died 7 years ago?'
yes its very sad, but what does it have to do with the price of tea in china? i feel your pain

then there's the woman who let's it RIIIIP in the ladies' bathroom....while she's ON HER CELL PHONE in the stall. If it wasn't so OUTRAGEOUS...I wouldn't have bothered to share the sordid details.....

Then there's the Asian woman who pops her zits in the bathroom mirror and brushes her teeth and tweezes her eyebrows...like no one else is in there with her!

ewwwww first why do you need to call someone while you are peeing? thats just gross.

i've seen people brush their teeth at work, but that doesn't bother me.

i have a lot of LOUD talkers too. that can get to you after a while

I think Im runner up in this one. I dont know what kind of problems she has (dont care to know either). But today was the second time she had an 'accident' and she left a trail of sh!t from the bathroom to her cubicle. I almost threw up from the smell.

Dear God, and no one says anything to her??? That's waaayyy unsanitary!!!

There really isn't one way to pin this woman down, but let's just say she carries a hand-held fan, in the winter!! She has a bag full of any drug you would ever need and it's been rumored she's on lithium. Being a press office, each morning we all go through the newspapers - she is one of those people who talk to herself and comment on particular articles while doing so! She is close to 40, is single, lives in Soho in central London and only has a part-time job

Doesn't it just piss you off when crazy people are independently wealthy????
