The stress is getting to me...hugs please (long)

Original post by MJDoc12

Okay, as you saw, i flipped on my mom yesterday. she mostly deserved it, but i know i just am getting stressed. with only 6 wks or so to go, these are all the things i'm dealing with, and i feel like i'm gonna crack under the pressure:

*find apartment for FH and i to live in (this is ALMOST done, checking out the place today, hopefully we'll get it)

*put $$ down on said apartment, 1st month and 1 month security...at this point this is a big chunk of change out of the wedding fund

*go from 5 days a week to 6 days of week at my job, cause tax season is on the way and it means busy, busy, busy!

*Organize and move out of my parents house.

*Move into new apartment 1st week of Feb., and then try and get used to living with my FH for the first time, 3 weeks b4 our wedding

*Handle the billion and one things in the wedding planning process that you deal with in the last few wks before. like RSVP's, seating chart, fittings, favor wrapping, HM shopping, OOT guest coordinating, etc.

*Pay my regular bills as well as try and pay off the wedding itself...which seems even more difficult these days cause i want enough for the remaining vendors AND tips. Doesn't help that my parents are now giving me a hard time and don't want to pay for the 30 guests or so they asked for....where the fuk am i supposed to get that extra $$$???

*Oh yeah...and GET MARRIED!

i feel like i can't take much more of this....and the stress is only gonna pile on more as the day gets closer. i just want to sneak on a plane and fuking elope.

Mel, you're gonna be OK. I too missed the incident with your mom, but heck, I'd be pissed too if after inviting 30 people she doesn't want to pay for them.

It's getting closer. I'm only a few weeks behind you.....

HANG IN! I know it is hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel becasue there is SO MUCH a head of you. Remember you are one person and can't do it on your own. Try to prioritze by most important and let the rest trickle down. If you try to do it all at once, you will kill yourself. Good Luck! Tell your FH that he owes you a massage!

Melissa...hang in there....I'm with ya sista.
I get married the week before you, also just moved in with FH, and have a lot of the same stresses going on and yea....its crazy.
As for the logistical things.....you will get them done. As for the move; yest that is a lot...but so worth it in the end! I am now a bridezilla and yell at everyone....its so embarrassing.
I even exploded on FH last night.
As for the financial stuff.....just pay what you can....you should also get $ as gifts for your wedding which will pay for a lot.....hang in there. FM me if you want

I'm so sorry! You definitely have a lot on your plate, so it's no wonder you are stressed....Just keep in mind that things will get better, and everything you are doing will be well worth it!

I really really really been feeling the same way. My poor FH is getting it the worst and I still have 10 months left but two weeks until we move back into our house (we were getting construction done) so that is why i am mainly stressed.

Here are some more hugs...

I know it must be rough right now. Just try and manage your time as much as possible and allow at least 20 minutes a day for yourself to go walking or some kind of exercise to help with the stress.
Things will get done and come together. Don't worry
