First off, I just wanted to thank everyone who responded to the post about Steve... we got over 175 responses, and we went through and read each and every one. You are all so sweet and caring... and your thoughts and prayers mean so much to us!
Steve is doing better.... we've just been going from doctor to doctor getting everything checked out (neurologists, orthopedists, etc). He gets his sutures and staples out next week, and we also have a consult with a plastic surgeon who will let us know whether or not Steve will need any skin grafting (let's pray that he doesn't! )
So thank you everyone!
And... a HUGE thank you to Ron, Liz, and Kim... who did the absolute sweetest thing and sent us a gorgeous breakfast in bed basket!
We are so unbelievably touched by this gesture... we don't even know how to thank LIW enough!
Hopefully things will calm down soon and I can get back to my usual postings!

I had no idea what happened so I did a search. You must have gone through hell. Well, the best part of it all is that he is home and doing well. I will pray that he continues his speedy recovery.

I am so glad that Steve is recovering! It is amazing how much a little support and prayers go a long way! I have to agree that LIW is amazing, and Ron, Liz and Kim go above and beyond to give things a personal touch, because I know that they do care! I thank God that what could have been a horrible tragedy, will soon be a passing event, that in the grad scheme of things showed you just how much you both need and love each other, and the true value of life May Steve continue to get stronger, and may God continue to guide the hands and the decisions of his doctors. May he give you and Steve peace during this time !

Hayley, both you and Steve have been in all of our thoughts and prayers and it's good to hear that he is doing a bit better.......although his road to recovery will still be long, atleast he knows he has this support here, from you and his family.
LIW IS amazing and what they did for you is absolutely wonderful! Just shows how personal this site is and how caring everyone involved can be...........
Take good care of each other and take it day by day.......it will all get better soon and your wedding day will be here and it will be amazing! In EVERY way...........

It's so nice to hear that Steve is feeling better.. or as better as he can be for the ordeal that he went thru.. I have never seen anything like that in my life and he truly had an angel with him that day!!!
