First off, I just wanted to thank everyone who responded to the post about Steve... we got over 175 responses, and we went through and read each and every one. You are all so sweet and caring... and your thoughts and prayers mean so much to us!

Steve is doing better.... we've just been going from doctor to doctor getting everything checked out (neurologists, orthopedists, etc). He gets his sutures and staples out next week, and we also have a consult with a plastic surgeon who will let us know whether or not Steve will need any skin grafting (let's pray that he doesn't! )

So thank you everyone!

And... a HUGE thank you to Ron, Liz, and Kim... who did the absolute sweetest thing and sent us a gorgeous breakfast in bed basket!

We are so unbelievably touched by this gesture... we don't even know how to thank LIW enough!

Hopefully things will calm down soon and I can get back to my usual postings!

I haven't been on the site in a while so I just found out the news. Hayley I'm so so sorry that you and Steve had to go through this. It's so fantastic to hear he is recuperating so nicely.

What a wonderful gesture on behalf of Ron & Liz. So very sweet!

WOW I didn't think it was possible but LIW just went up a notch IMO! That was such a sweet gesture!! Nice work Ron and Kim!

So good to hear Steve is doing better! Keep us all posted on his progress for sure!
