with FH. We are seriouly thinking about postponing the wedding to a later date even maybe to next year. With our financial situation that way it is right now and the economy we both think it would be good to postpone to save more money.
I really don't want to but if I want to have everything for our wedding maybe it would be best if we do postpone. Nothing is definite right now but it's just saddens me that we even had 'the talk'
Anyone else had or thinking about having 'the talk'?

We've had the talk. FH lost his job and was out for 6 months, however he got a job this past Nov. so we continued with the planning.

hey hun,
i grew up in the business so i think the thursday idea is def better since i know the diff in price!! Also, if you move it up, to sooner, not later, you will also get a MUCH better price. Thats another thing to think about. Catering halls that still have any dates available in the next 3 months, WANT to sell them for ANYTHING. look into that, if you need help let me know! i am here!!!
Another idea is to not go all out this year. Do a bit of a smaller wedding, and 5 years from now, when u r settled down and have the money, renew your vows in a very big way! i know it may not be what you want to here, but itll def be easier on you.
No matter what, i am here if you need any advice or help! keep your head up, itll all work out for the best! It always does!

I am sorry. I hope everything works out. If anything postpone it for a year and hopefully everything will be back to normal by then

aww im so sorry..maybe there r ways to go around it so u dont have to postpone...ways to cut sown costs..no flowers,no limos.etc...all u need is u and fh all that other stuff is decoration

We've had the talk, but there is a good chance the economy is only going to get worse. Plus they are making so much money that there will be inflation. So we figure the damage is better done now then later.
